Exercise Physiology

Exercise physiology is a section within kinesiology that studies the body’s responses to physical activity. Exercise physiology focuses on creating wellness programs to individuals with chronic illness, obesity, and cardiopulmonary dysfunction. With over 15 years experience, the Parr PT team specializes in evaluating and developing programs specific to each person’s needs. Each individual must undergo a series of testing to assess acute and chronic responses to exercise. The results determined from the body analysis then provide information to create a safe and effective program to improve strength, endurance, and peak performance. In addition, video of each exercise is provided to ensure complete understanding.
