Multiple Sclerosis or MS is a neurological condition that affects the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Due to damage of the myelin sheath, the disrupted brain signals cause compromised awareness, strength and stability. As a result, frequent falls occur requiring specialized physical therapy to improve balance and safety to reduce fall risk.

Specialized treatments for Multiple Sclerosis include balance training, progressive strength training, and myokinesthetics for pain relief.
